Solid Vinyl Construction. Unlike metal and wood, vinyl will not rust, rot or corrode. The color is ingrained so scratching and marring is eliminated. Vinyl is a highly resistant conductor of heat and cold which contributes to high thermal efficiencies.

Fusion Welding. All frame and sash profiles have been fusion-welded to give superior strength to all mitered edges. In addition to the strength, the welded edges provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance and ensure a perfectly square unit which is critical for achieving optimum performance.

      These Simonton energy efficient basement hopper replacement windows feature: high-tech multi-chamber rigid virgin vinyl; tilt-in from top for venting with locking handle; welded main frame and sash frames; heavy-duty pivoting hinge; and a sash that tilts inward.
